At Candies4Christ I believe that our men and wowen in uniform need to be supported. These are a few links that I have found over the internet that help support our men and women. Please note that these organizations and myself are not affiliated. I just believe that the more exposure these websites get the more support for our men and woman. Thank you for supporting them. They fight for our freedoms and keep our country free. Remember freedom means many things to many people. To me freedom means being able to worship God and Jesus, spending time with my family without worrying about suicide bombers, enjoying wildflowers and the park with my son, and ice cream in the yard on a summers day watching fire flies. Remember that for the men and woman these things that we enjoy they give up to fight because they believe this way of life should be protected. For the men and woman that have lost their lives, these things will never be. The people fighting and serving our country are husbands, borthers, uncles, cousins, mothers, sisters, aunts, and friends. They could be your boss, neighbor or your family member. Make it personal for many this is personal. Imagine you are miles away from your family, alone, scared, being shot at or who knows what, you are wondering if this is all worth losing your life for and devestating your family, then you come back to base and you have cards and packages thanking you and telling you that what you are doing is worth it and someone does care. You don’t have to know someone personally to make a difference in their lives but someone cared about you personally to fight for the freedom that you have.
